Flare up fix

When I’m having a flare up, and my symptoms are bad*, I fix myself by doing the following –

– Minimum 10 hours sleep a night: my body needs this down time to heal itself
– Drink lots of coconut water/milk
– Lemon and ginger tea
– Drink 4 litres of water a day
– Strictly only eat watermelon, spinach, kale, sweet potato, chicken, tuna
– Take probiotics, pentasa, aloe vera daily
– Eat small portions, frequently

*cramps, blood in stool, unable to eat without pain, lack of energy, going to the toilet >3 times a day

Dinner could look like small portions of:

– Ginger, soy and honey chicken with kale and sweet potato mash
– Tuna steak with spinach
– Turkey meatballs in tomato sauce on courgette noodles
– Plain chicken with kale and sweet potato mash
